S-TRAINED SOULS by Doc Múrdaka (EVENT – May 22, 2025)

Verde di Calabria Superior BBF is pleased to announce a new appointment with art.

On Thursday, May 22, 2025, from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM, our spaces will host the exhibition of artist Domenico Múrdaca, known as Doc Múrdaka.

The event offers a special opportunity to discover his series “ANIME S-TESE”, a collection of cardboard paintings created using mixed techniques. The works depict an inner journey: "condensed light of the soul which, passing through the dark time of the mind, transforms into something new, other than itself."

Doc Múrdaka was born in 1957 in Palmi (RC) and developed his artistic research in Milan until 2013. Since 2014, he has returned to live in his hometown. Over the years, he has explored various forms of communication — from graphic design to theater, audiovisual to music, and finally video art — creating a personal and syncretic style, in which the idea becomes light, color, and matter. He now works primarily with wood sculpture and multimedia arts.

His exhibitions are always occasions of “synchronicity”, free from commercial or political frameworks.
